postheadericon Positive cases of influenza “H1N1”

The Ministry of Health of Panama confirmed a total of 571 positive cases of the virus TO (H1N1) in the country, in addition to two deaths of children infected with this kind of influence.
According to the institution, the total of 571, 300 relate to boys and 271 are female. By age, 335 are under age 15, 73 are between 15 and 19 years; 142 are between 20 and 49 years and 21 cases relate to the ages of 50 years and more.
The second death was a less than three years of age, which presented in addition convulsions, septic shock and hypertension skull.
The 65.8 percent of the positive is located in the metropolitan area, with a higher incidence in the districts of San Francisco, Bella Vista, Bethany, Ancón, Juan Diaz, Tocumen and Park Lefevre.
There are also infected in the provinces of Colon, Chiriqui, Cocle, Saints and Herrera, as well as the district of San Miguelito.
Of the 571 confirmed cases, have been given the high epidemiological 513 patients (89.8 percent), which have returned to their daily lives.
I would say that the total number of cases in Panama, could become probably nearly doubled, if you count those who have ill, but have not attended to the doctor, but that followed the course of influenza (fever, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, muscle pain, fatigue, loss of appetite, etc. ) and fortunately improved, to reintegrate back to his day by day.
Among the cases not counted formally, i am with two of my children, who were sick at the end of June, each between 3 to 4 days, and then left with a depletion and weakness, almost two weeks. When he commented subsequently to my doctor, told me that most likely to be influenza A (H1N1). AND surely, like us, there must be a number of cases without accounting.
